| Abstract | This is a one-page chart (11x17 inch). It groups the basic equations for heat transfer (storage, conduction, radiation, convection) and fluid flow into 4 sections (system performance, system properties, material properties, and energy). The purpose of this chart is to show the similarity of the equations across the various modes of heat transfer and fluid flow, to provide a basic level of understanding for students, to show how the fluid and material properties are used, to show the system of units, and to provide a simple way to make preliminary calculations. |
